I saw some great custom samurai and decided to make my own, but without part modding. Then I came across the great pauldron idea from Nate Mac. The Vladek masks are looped around the neck and arms with lego rubber bands, the katana is also held in place by a rubber band.
The horse is pretty simple, just Vladek's horse with a samurai standard.

The back, this samurai is made completely without part modding, the pauldrons and katana are held by official lego rubber bands.
This is a very creative idea. I have one suggestion though. I'd change the Naginata (the spear thing) to look more like an actual one though. But I like it.
