okday, just showing one idea of mine. ................................................not much to say.
About this creation
Now of course this is Pepa Quinn's idea, so kudoos to him.



















Anyway i made able to use the newish astromech droid bodies! just cut one of those axle + tube pieces.




















My idea! the astromech droid head lifting thingy, used in N1 star fighters! Nice, huh.

























And here is the generic astromech droid testing the height of his lifting thing. Now go make a ship with this idea!!

EDIT: hey guys, just PART of this isnt my idea. I DID make the second part.

Just going back to the review you left on my page: It totally defeats the point of using LEGOs if you're going to cut them. Just buy a model and have a better looking, more realistic shape.

I'm pretty sure that is Pepa Quinn's design. Except you use a 1/2 technic pin which only work with either newer or older R2s (can't remember which). I've always loved the idea.

I like the naboo fighter thing, but that third leg... it looks good, but I'm against cutting lego, I knom it is imposseble to give an R2 a third leg without cutting or gleuing lego
