Ship no.2 for Uspez's variation on a theme challenge.
Actually, this is ship no.3; no. 2 is waiting on parts,
so this was a spontaneous build in the meantime.
Colours this garish call for a racer. Or possibly a
new type of fighter that blinds enemy pilots when
they look at it...
Nothing revolutionary going on here build-wise, but a
hellofvalotta fun anyway. I got the name Ryukin from a type
of goldfish, in case you're wondering. Yes, I'm going
for a fish theme with my names at the moment...

The pilot has a tinted visor so he doesn't burn out his corneas getting into the cockpit.

Used minifig cups for exhaust nozzles.

Breakdown of the canopy/wing assembly.

Spare lime green pieces

Here fishy fishy fishy!

Dear Mr. Ocean (if that is in fact your real name) I have just returned from my optometrist and psychiatrist. I am obligated to inform you that you will be receiving a rather inflated bill for both of them. The eye doctor for the intense nerve damage and irreversable cornia scaring and from the shrink for the nightmares I have suffered over the past three weeks from looking at this piece of trash. I hope your satisfied with yourself. Sincerely ~ Chris Phipson.

Nice one! I like how the engines are attached to the sides of the cockpit.

This is the best lego gold fish I've ever seen. The space ship is pretty good too.

This is a beautiful ship, Shannon. It's like nothing I've ever seen. That's what makes it so great. On the subject of the email you sent me, I just didn't find the skeleton rowboat crew that entertaining. And I agree with the guy on Keith Goldman's 'Black Fantasy' Creation. Just because Goldman made it doesn't mean it deserves a 5. I gave it a 5, I thought the play on words was funny [and the bubbly jacuzzi was really good]. Back to this MOC, what makes you such a great builder is your unique design. You use color combinations only you would even think of and only you would dare to use. This is a great example of that, beatuiful ship. 5/5

Wow, your just getting better and better! Someone has been dotting on Uzpes's building strategies... The bright colors have no effect on me, probably because I'm rather attracted to bright colors. Very nice, and keep up the good work.

Brilliant! In all my twiddling around with color schemes, I never put lime green and red together... shame on me. The checker pattern really looks great, and I love the engine portion with the glassware and doors thrown in!

Ewww! The colours are so horrible they actually become good! The simplicity of the construction shows the mind that made this hasn't gone quite mad yet, though. Think of it as modern art ;)

These just get better and better; between you and Upsez we may have to start a whole faction. I love the gaudy coloring and compact design.

Wow, that's really cool! You chose an awesome color scheme. The checker pattern works well with it, too.
