This is my first official lego creation.This battleship is medium to large size with a ton of firepower.The HMS Winston started being planned in the 1970's but wasn't built until 1990's.Its primary role was to get to were it was needed quickly and be able to lay down some heavy firepower.It has an advantage over other larger warships because it is faster and smaller making it harder to hit.Ok enough with the basics now for the weapons...The HMS Winston has two 9" auto reloding turrets at the front on each side there is 2 anti ship missile launchers that fold away, two 50 caliber machine guns mounted on the upper deck, two tomohawk cruise missile bays and at the back there is a Surface to Air Missile (SAM) system witch is also auto reloding.It has a crew of 10 these consist of 1 commander,3 weapon controllers/engineers,2 boat engineers,2 divers ,1 engine man and 1 communications man.This boat also has a small motor boat at the rear used for multi purposes.

This is the SAM missile system.It can rotate 360 degrees and fires at enemy jets and helicopters.When the SAM launcher is empty it relodes through a hatch underneath the SAM.If it needs to, it can fire at a rate of 20 rockets per minuet.

The SAM in action

This is the anti ship missile system or (ASMS)it fires missiles at sea targets with a range of 8km.This system can be replaced by a torpedo launching system to take out those annoying submarines.

Here is a shot of the alternative system.This is the anti submarine torpedo system or (ASTS).It has a longer tube that fires a torpedo into the water.

now they are open. now you can see the missiles.this ship holds 10 tomahawks.

this is a close up of the tomahawk cruise missile.These missiles can fire great distances.The missile are mostly aimed at land based targets.

Here is the commander and communications man

here is a 50 cal machine gun.these are used mainly for close range attacks on other ships and helicopters.

Here is the multi purpose boat.It has 2 small machine guns on the front(just in case) and has a motor engine at the back.It is lowered into the water via crane.

cooool this is sweeeet and by the way to the guy below me the guys are not mega blocks their made by a company called brick ,which is much better than mega blocks and makes Lego sized army stuff [the bricks and guys are exactly the same as Lego ones]

its obvious no one has seen the mega blocks on it any one reading this look at the missile bay near the two machine gunners theres mega bloks lego doesn't sell that color of green :( BUT you still get a 3 cause i like the design of it and i like how you really planned out all of its weapons.

Very Nice! There aren't enough modern sea ships on mocpages to satisfy me. I like the way this one is built to Lego scale, it incorperates most of the defining features of the real thing, but scaled down. For improvements I would maybe make the superstructure taller, and make the prow more pointy.
