AT-TE
My modified AT-TE.
About this creation
Some time ago I posted pics of all my Star Wars walkers and offered to post more pics of the AT-TE if requested. So here they are.
The AT-TE is actually not only modified but completly rebuilt.
After I got it, I played the AT-TE alot but then it was rebuilt into a bad AT-OT and then it was scrapped.
But then, when I started do let my Star Wars figs fight big battles I needed another big vehicle for the Republic. So I decided to rebuild the AT-TE.
But as I wasnīt able to find all the original parts (they were lost in my LEGO-boxes or used in MOCs) it is not perfect. But it looks quite good in my opinion.
The backstory for this is that in the Clone Wars some AT-TEs were upgraded with better armor and weapons.
The front. I didnīt use dark red pieces so I could put on some parts in any colour for different clone legiones.

The right side. The dishes on the legs are all differnt and the windows are of an other colour.

This is where you DONīT want to be. The lower guns were changed, see below for closeups.

The left side.

The back. These guns are changed too.

So hereīs the closeup of the lower front guns. The longest ones are Ion cannons. The yellow-greenish things are rocketlaunchers. Above them are heavy laser cannons.

This is the heavy mass-driver cannon. It is even heavier than the normal gun of an AT-TE. Above it is a camera so the turret can be controled from inside.
Under it is (not very well visible) is a rapid-fire laser cannon.

The back hatch opened. Here you see two crew members, I mean why should I put all of my clones in vehicles?

Here I took of the top to let you look inside. Under the main armor plates some plates were added as floor to have more room.

The AT-TE has some supplies and such things stored inside. From left to right: two supply containers, a bacta automaton, a stretcher, a seat with some controls for controling the main gun from inside, a speeder with a winch and a mobile command centre.

The speeder compared with the speeder from the Republic Cruiser set on which it is based.

Thank you for viewing, please leave a review and look at my other creations.
