"Dinner's over worm-dude!"
About this creation
Hello and welcome to the first meeting of the newly formed BFAA. Our aim is to assist people who have become addicted to building in Nannan's Black fantasy style, well after the contest is officially over. We have delved into the dark recesses of our souls and are now trapped. Many, like myself, feel totally consumed and cannot stop ourselves from building little black creatures with glowing red eyes to devour all mankind. But there is hope. Through our meetings, together we have a chance to return to our former selves and the world of light and laughter and happy minifigs. I'd like to thank Mark Kelso for bringing the tissues; please help yourself if you need to as together we share our stories of addiction.
I have developed 3 rules to guide you in your struggle to let go of the Dark Ones. They are as follows:
1. There ARE other colours in Lego besides black. I will learn to use them again.
2. During my addiction, I have neglected my partner, family and friends. I CAN learn to enjoy their company again.
3. I will not continue to listen to Slayer backwards surrounded by six hundred and sixty six candles waiting for inspiration from the Dark Lord.
Repeat as often as needed. If you have any of your own you fell help you in your struggle please share them with the rest of us. Go in peace.
Variation on the Madness Motor
Now this is what happens when Black Fantsy meets Cyborg Raceships. Normally something this horrid would never see the light of day, but that's what addiction does to you...
The pure Black fantasy version.
My fave: an Asepticon. These beasts mop up after the other dark machines have already levelled an area. They suck up any remaining forms of life and microscopic organisms in the soil which it burns in it's "head". Thus rendering the earth as sterile and lifeless as lunar regolith. TOTAL PURIFICATION.
I used wire through the middle of those 2x2 round bricks to give them that slight curve rather than boringly straight.
Close up of the "head".

i am sorry but it will take more than that to lift the curse! you may say "you only just delved into the darkness, we can still pull you out!" ...to which i must say i enjoy the darkness. The void is all i know now, and i lavish in the despair |

I suppose words like awful and hopeless would actually be complements when it comes to black fantasy creations and they certainly apply here! All these creations are brilliant but they make me wish that someone would start a group of heroes, perhaps as alien as the Black horde, to fight against the devestation. Great cyborg racer you threw in there! |

It seems that there's still hope for you, Shannon...Black Fantasy Cyborg Racers. One step at a time man, one step at a time. And here's a hint for other MOCers: don't try it even once, because that's many times enough to get you hooked.
P.S. Nice builds Shannon! |

Love these -- they're all extremely menacing. The tall, slender design seems to work well for that purpose, and the idea of combining Cyborg Race-Ships with Black Fantasy is interesting as well. |

Once again, great stuff. I really like the "racer". Its got that bat feel to it. And just to tell you, my Proton mech is actually kinda heavy. Maybe I'll weigh it later. |
