Caterpillar and Komatsu truck line up for size comparison

About this creation

Here folks is the line up of mining trucks in order of size. All of these trucks are made to minifig scale and are exactly scaled from the real machines Product specification sheet dimensions.I have made to of each of these models except for the Cat793 of which i have thee versions,Starting from left to right we have the Caterpillar 797B which carries 360 Metric tonnes. Next in line is the Komatsu 930E-3 which carries 290 Metric tonnes. Next to that is the Caterpillar 793D which carries 218 Metric tonnes. Next in Line is the Caterpillar 789C which carries 190 Metric tonnes and Last but not forgotten is the humble Caterpillar 777F the latest version of Caterpillars best selling 777 range. With a carrying capacity of 91 Metric tonnes. This truck is world renown in the mining industry.
I have actually stood next to one these and it makes you feel small the tires are 8ft tall. So you can imagine what Standing next to the 797B would be like as the tires on that are just over 12ft tall and has a total height of 25ft and is 30ft wide. As i find time I will slowly put more of my pictures on this site. let me know what you think

Great work!! I love the attention to proportions you spoke of, and the details look terrific. I'll be keeping an eye out for more shots of each of these.
