They're creepy and they're kookey. Mysterious and spookey. They're altogether together ookey. ... The Addams Family
About this creation
This is my third MOC posting. All big grey things. I think this might be the first time in the 20 something years I've been playing with legos that I got away from the Castle Theme.
#1 - The Addams family haunted house. I tried to use the SNOT technique where possible for instance in the weed garden. The dimensions and styling are very similar to the Cafe Corner (probably because I used a lot of the same pieces and cornering technique.)
#2 - This is the Addams Family Reference Photo that the model is based on.
# 3 Wednesday is chased by a ghost!
# 4 Gomez has a shovel.
#5 Side View. The Chimney didn't turn out as nice as I'd like because I ran out of brown pieces. This is the one area of the house that i'm not really digging. I probably should've made this a 3 width instead of 4 so that it wouldn't be so close to the windows. Oh well, maybe I'll fix it later. (I think I'm a closet perfectionist)
#6 Side View from the Right. Please ignore the grey roof pieces. Ran out of pieces again. the two 3x2x1 slopes that I did have were from 1990 in the knights stronghold. Suprised I still had both of them to be honest.
#7 Raven in the Steeple
#8 Not much to see in the back. I added some grey stripes to spice things up, but whos looking anyways.

May I suggest placing flat, smooth tile bricks in the backyard? I think it'll look much better, rather than the studs sticking up. |

Did you have THING help you with that?
Oh it's a good thing Wednesday and Pugsley didn't see it or else they'd blow it up!
A nice job.
Have you seen both the t.v. show and movie?
Are you planing to see the Broadway Musical? |

nicely done, it looks less haunted than the picture, maybe it's because of the arches you used, anyway, it looks good, great job |

This is one of the coolest buildings I have ever seen. Is it modular? I also love the color choice. I think I'll do one myself with all those pieces from my Town Plan I bought. Keep it up, man. |

Nice work Bryan! I love the color scheme and the way you were able to tie the chimney into the side of the house. I think you have used the conceptual elements of the Cafe Corner effectively in a whole new way. Excellent work! |

A lovely creation. The colour choice is amazing and certainly gives it an eerie feel. Lee. |

I, for one, do not think that he just changed the color. I think that it does "look" like the CAFE CORNER, but has many differences such as the frogs are not in the top window, the door is on the side; not in the front. Plus -not to mention- the sign is missing, the chimeny is new, and the fence is new. So to me i think it looks superb, sublime, and all together magnificent!-----------------------------------mikey p. |

Very cool creation, Bryan! Your castles are pretty cool as well. Can you easily open the house in order to play, too? Cause I think playability is important...
Anyways, great MOC & happy building. Your stuffs rocks!

Don't you think Wednesday would turn around and kick the ghosts... ? This is an awesome build! My wife and I are big time "creepy stuff" fans (our wedding anniversary is 10-31... go figure). Some things I would have liked to have seen (not that there is ANYTHING wrong with this build) would have been a second story balcony maybe or some graves in the "weed garden". Just some things to think about for your next build. And P.S. I wouldn't go telling people that your a closet anything. You know how immature twelve year olds (or thirty somethings for that matter) could have a field day with that kind of thing! Keep up the GREAT work. I always find it annoying when people ask for you to review their stuff but I would love some feedback from you on my stuff, thanks. Later ~ Chris. |

Looks like an evil version of Cafe Corner, very creepy...only thing that could make this better would be some of the shingles out of place and if some elements weren't exactly the same on both sides...still a very nice MOC. |
