1917-German stormtroopers overrun the Italian trenches at Caporetto during the Austrian-German offensive.
To clarify confusion regarding WWI equipment; by 1916, the Kaiser's forces did indeed make use of stick grenades(Stielhandgranate), steel helmets(Stahlhelm) and flamethrowers(Flammenwerfer).
Nice work, pal! I wonder why there are no Spanish Civil War vigs or MOCs (which I would like to try out but I have neither the right pieces nor the right colours or figs... YET), so I was thinking that if you made a try it would certainly come out right, at least from the setting/landscape point of view and the weapons...
Anyway, great setting, great figs.
Dode this is sssooo cccooolll please visit my site and if you do leave a review and tell me how to get those hemets!P.S. the stuff on my site is old and outdated by a couple months my new stuff will be updated soon.
Cool vig; I was thinking of doing something similar for Anazc Day in April. The rain on the bricks gives a nice impression of those waterlogged trenches. Here's another cool idea for a vig in that battle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Caporetto
