The HA-FT was originally designed by a rodian junkyard mechanic. it was a simple bulldozer used to move large ammounts of junk and debris. It was adopted into the Republic army for its clever power train design. the HA-FT can move several tons of rubble easily. It was mainly used, however, to clear through enemy lines and defensive emplacements. very few HA-FTs were ever built

front veiw

the laser turret was added for minor offensive capability while driving.

the treads on the original vehicle did not have armored plating like the HA-FT shown here. the plating was added to protect the rather primitive tank treads from enemy rockets. the back was left open to alow mud to escape

pilots seat.

the front hatch opens via simple hydraulics that swing the entire front open...

...as shown here

fully open

Uh...What do we do?

Oh no

Ahhh.

bzt..zrttz...bzrt

If you happen to be one of the people who actually cares, I did make a better version of this vehicle. I mostly added some detail work and smoothed out some rough spots. the new version is in my tank folder...
