Case IH Steiger Quadtrac
This tractor uses the two XL motors for driving, one old-style geared motor to power the articulated steering. There's a turntable between the two halves which allows the tractor to twist and pivot over rough terain. Another receiver on the back to control trailers/implements.
About this creation

Steering motor with worm gear drives the 24T which controls the steering. New rechargeable battery is MUCH lighter and smaller than 6AA version. Definitely worth the money.

Hi, I'm actually posting on behalf of my boyfriend... Is it possible for you to send me a list of the parts you used?? My boyfriend works on Quadtracs at the Case plant in our town. His birthday is coming up and I think this would be a fun project for him :) Let me know if this is possible and I will send you my email address. Thanks.

Quoting Denise Smith Hi - I am making this enquiry on behalf of my son - he is interested in purchasing the parts and instructions for the tractor - could you please advise cost including postage and expected delivery time - Thanks
Hey Denise- Maybe in the future I will upload more pictures of the tractor. I have no plans on making instructions. I could give you guys a rough parts list and then you could buy the parts on www.bricklink.com Let me know if this helps. Thanks

Quoting Brady Kemmer i was wondering if you could build and sell me one of these tractors.
Wouldn't you get more satisfaction from creating and building one yourself? :)

Quoting Alfie Evans Hey Riley i love the quadtrac it's amazing also how did you do the pivit link? Also did you base it on a CASE IH 450 OR 350?
Alfie, Glad you like it. The pivot link is built using a turntable with the push-arm attached to one side, this allows it to turn left and right and to rotate. I don't remember which version I based it on, I built it almost 3 years ago. I can email you better pictures of the pivot link if you want. Later

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment concerning my BR50 steamer! I saw these videos on YouTube just recently, and hadn't realized you were on MOCPages. That is some insane pulling power, and seriously agile too. In addition it looks great. Those tracks are really nice.

Wow impressive machine! it must be quite powerfull with 2 XL motors! I love the quadtrack design and the way it can twist to crawl over obstacles! Great job!!! Ps: i like the treads/tracks in dark grey better than in black ;)

Quoting Darcy Guerin Hanlon Excellent liked that case tractor does it cost $1000 run like the real thing? cos i know the lego PF motors chew up battery's quick
Yea, I want one of the new PF rechargeable batteries for that reason, plus they are a quite a bit smaller. One of the big weaknesses of the powerfunctions is the massive size and weight of the original battery packs.
