2001- "A Black Fantasy". Excellent!

"2001" is my favorite movie, and the vignette is great, so it's a great 5/5 for this sweet MOC.
I will look for your M-Tron Ship, it should be cool ;-)

I like it that people are doing tributes in lego now.

I really like the Nannam Odyssey.

Great job! The only suggestion I can make is that I would add a bit more bricks surrounding the spotlights... but it is possible that that is just me.

"Two possibilities exist: Either we are alone in the Universe
or we are not. Both are equally terrifying."
I like that quote,I really do,it gets me thinking,I'm sure he was a great man.

Absolutely amazing :)
Upon seeing this, all I could think of was Jupiter being swallowed up.

That is AWSOME, I saw that movie, well some of it. I don't remember that part, but I do remember that black piece of nothing,or is it!

You know what scares me most about this MOC? It's not the thought of being alone in a cold, emotionless universe or even that we might not be alone and the invaders are just bidding their time. The scariest thing about this is the thought of the "Shannons" working together (shudder). I'm gonna need to go huddle in the corner for a long while after thinking about that. ~ Chris.

I'd love to quote 2001 here, but it's all about the visuals, not the dialogue, so nothing apt comes to mind. HAL gets all the best lines and he's a computer. The monolith would have no evolutionary effect on him... would it?
