Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury Cathedral. The cathdral's spire was added on years after the cathdral was originally built. So at this time the model has no spire. I will post additional photos when the spire is completed.

truly an inspiration! Can't believe I never posted a comment on this. I linked to this in one of my own MOC's, but didn't post a comment before! Must've been one time the browser closed on me or something.

Now, to me, this is special even within the body of your work. I think it's the color texturing of the walls, on top of all the usual suspects.

This truly was a pleasure seeing this at Brickfair '09. I am thinking about using the brick pattern(if I may) though how many pieces did it take?

Right on, Arthur - another great addition to the collection. I'll be interested to see it with the additional spire. In the mean time, though...nice use of the color variations for the mottled look. It could've easily gotten too busy, yet you make it work flawlessly. I'm gonna sound like a broken record (record...remember those?)but great MOC!!

Hey Chris, if I help you pick your jaw off the floor, will you help me with mine? Anyways, you may be the best designer on MOCpages. Simply amazing job.

Sorry it took so long to write this review, I was busy picking my jaw and other extremities up off the floor! Dude's got mad skills yo! (am I too old to talk like that... I think so) This build is... words fail. The detail of different colors built into the stone... You my friend, have just been added to my list of "MOC builders from Mount Olympus". I have been humbled in the face of greatness and that was not sarcasm (despite my normal type of review). Thank you for sharing this amazing build. Later ~ Chris.

Twice in one day I am reduced to "wow". This is beautiful. I especially like how you have given the walls that mottled look. Lee.
