Classic VW Beetle - Bug
A 1960s LEGO VW Beetle/Bug in "classic scale" to enhance my clock tower...
About this creation
This is a classic-scale LEGO VW Beetle/Bug in a 4-wide design I made to accompany my clock tower building. I started out with a Uli Meyer design and enhanced it to my liking. Like Uli said, the running boards are essential to accomplishing the final VW look; I made mine black. I also made all top faces with tiles to achieve an overall smoother feel...

I drove a red Volkswagon Baja Bug in high school. Ahh, the memories!

Has even more details than my beetle... and I love the fact that you have a rear window (1x2 slant). I still like my rear detail better, though. Other than that, good job!!!

No.. that is to freaky... Good bug, saw you owned a red baja vw beetle. My uncle just offered to me and my dad his red baja beetle. it wasnt baja at first; my dad tore it up in college and they bought baja parts... Cool! =)
