The up and coming Neutron Ray technology is now deployable in turret form!

So, here is a bit more about the technology that the C Quadrant Defenders use in thier craft. On the Wolverine N, and the Lynx (not standard weaponry for stunt fighters), there is a high power weapon that operates in a similar fashion to that of Neutron Wave Rockets, AKA Pulsars. Those Pulsars fire a disk-shaped wave of neutrons, that bombard enemy's ships and tear them to peices. When the Wolverine series was refit, this weapon was designed to give the fighters the edge in battle, without spraying neutrons everywhere. Instead, a concentrated beam could be fired, after sufficiant electrical energy was stored up in a capacitor, it then discharged as a magnetic pulse to push the neutrons toward thier destination. All Neutron Ray's are composed of a sequencer (the three disks that build up neutrons), a capacitor (either stacks of disks or a large cylinder to store the high electical charge), and an emiter (the small and big cones at the end of the gun to direct the neutrons.
This is NOT where I would EVER want to stand.
That operator is thinking to himself "I'm so ready to pwn"
You can see the capacitor, sequencer, and emiter, from left to right
 That chair looks comfy.
A bit unorthodox building techniques for me.
It could fire with just this, and a power supply. But you would need some guys to carry it.
I hope this dude knows he isnt attached to the rest of the turret.
Look at the HUD's. I thought these were some cool targetting displays. And I liked the control sticks.
"Yay! Im gonna blow up some things!"

yes, it is some unorhtodox techniques. something is kind of confuzzling me, it is a CQD weapon, but the solid color that is not grey or black or something like that makes me think its an Axon peice, as they use strange solid colors. |
