About this creation
Rashi Clan Lumbala Atmospheric Transport™
Speed: 1600 kph in atmosphere
Flight Ceiling: 20,000 feet
Crew: Two, one pilot and one gunner
Capacity: Ten soldiers and gear, or 7200 lbs cargo
Armor: 76mm ken'asi plating
Manufacturer: Rashi clan
Armament: Two sisphil'il AA rockets, one 14.8mm slugthrowing cannon, two chaff/flare countermeasure launchers.
Lore: One of the first vehicles deployed during an invasion from the Orc Bajiir is their atmospheric dropships, these fast well armored ships are used to transport soldiers, small vehicles, cargo, equipment, stationary weapons, and just about anything else that needs to get moved from one place to the next. The infantry platforms are well armored and can comfortably seat ten soldiers, if needed an additional ten can stand within the troop bay. When droping personnel the transport hovers close to the ground and the bay doors swing down and work as a step platform to get them as close to the surface as possible. The troop bays also have internal lights and a inertia dampening field generator that keep the infantry from experianceing the majority of acceleration, de-acceleration, impacts, jolts, and turbulence associated with combat drops.
The dorsal mounted rockets are exceptional at keeping other aerial vehicles away, however the dropships are almost always escorted for protection. The slugthrowing cannon can provide cover for disembarking troops, and quickly clear a landing zone. While suffeciently armored against many weapons, the chaff and flare deployers (located on each side) are magazine fed and protect the dropship from incoming missiles and rockets. The gunner sits forward of the troop bay in an armored cockpit under the main hull.

Unique design with some great details. Very clean for something so busy - tough to keep it from looking cluttered and non-functional, but you made it work! Right smart lookin' ship ya got thar! |

Excellent use of a boat hull. The engines are great, as is the detailing on top. This has to be some of your best work so far; great job! |

Awesome. It's about time you gave the Orc faction some kind of drop ship. It's hard to believe you made this out of Legos. |
