Leithe, through a series of meditations and inner-focus, was able expel his corruption (see Demi-Toa story if confused) from his body, forcing it out with a giant bolt of lightning shot into the sky. As he did this, he immediately felt his molecules begin to destabilize as the power of its staff returned to its holy state (it was blessed by Mata-Nui, and despite the appearance of the Elohim, it still retains its power). Leithe panicked, because he realized he had become dependent on the corruption to maintain his enhanced Demi-Toa abilities. On an intuitive impulse, he charged his staff and amassed a swirling lightning storm around himself. The lightning embedded itself within Leithe's body, allowing him to use it as a replacement for his corruption so he doesn't completely disintigrate. After the storm broke, Leithe came out a completely different Toa, a Toa Kuelu. In ancient prophesies and lore, the Matoran of Kueva Nui believed that a time would come when the Toa who defended their island would be ravaged by dark conflict, but eventually learn to master it, and then expel it, and as they expelled it, they would become greater Toa than Kueva-Nui had ever seen. The "dark conflict" part was fulfilled by the Toa Kueva becoming Demi-Toa, and now the last part is beginning to be fulfilled, starting with Leithe.

A view of the electric conductor tower, built into his armor. It collects static electricity from the air, enhances it, and circulates it through Leithe's armor, creating an invisible lightning barrier. The main pic shows the front of his armor.

His arm. He can channel his electric deflective energy through this arm to create a nigh unbreakable shield in front of him if confronted by a large attack.

The staff arm. The armor on this arm is extremely heavy because it is full of storage cells and resistors for when Leithe discharges his lightning staff. This way, he won't accidentally electrocute himself and he can use the excess energy to enhance his electric shields. The Pakari allows him to lift this armor without growing too tired and despite the mechanisms in it, the armor is still very tough and can take brutal punishment before finally breaking.

His new wings. They allow him to fly short distances.

A cool pose.

Another cool pose.
