Zwielhander, Toa Kuelu of Fire
About this creation
Zwielhander is the second Demi-Toa to achieved the enlightened Toa Kuelu state. After suffering injuries from a recent battle with three Infernos paired with the constant harping of the Phoenix in the back of his head (see Demi-Toa form if confused), he snapped. He threw his possessed blade to the ground (also explained in the Demi-Toa form) and charged Sword Minor with all the power he could muster.
The entitiy within the blade fell silent, giving off an aura of confusion and fear, as Zwielhander drove Sword Minor into it. A loud shriek of pain followed as the blade shattered, the wisp of a departing soul rising up out of the fragments.
Having gained some peace and his sanity back, Zwielhander picked up his sword's hilt when he felt something strange. He felt his corrupted power begin to fade as the fragments of the broken blade lit up, floated up off of the ground, and melted onto his body, forming new armor, wings, and feet. When he returned to Zwie-Kueva, his Matoran stared in awe and confusion at his new appearance. Their Chronicler, Feumu, led the confused Toa to the Zwie-Kueva Chronicler's hall, a library of everything fire-related on Kueva-Nui. He showed Zwielhander a picture of an ancient Toa that looked almost exactly like him, armor and everything, only a lighter shade of red and with a different mask. To Zwielhander's surprise, Feumu told him the name of this Toa: Tugratti, Toa of Fire, also known as the "Phoenix". He was known to the Zwie-Chroniclers as a hero for allowing Mukraatan to imprison him in place of his village.
Zwielhander, now a Toa Kuelu, was horrified and kept secret how he became so similar to Tugratti. He confided in the other Toa, but swore them to secrecy and now looks for a way to find Tugratti's soul, who, like all Toa souls, spends several months wandering Kueva-Nui, admiring its beauty before passing into the next life. His quest is one of reconciliation and forgiveness for what he did. In the meantime, his weapons have returned to their normal state and Zwielhander can now fly faster and farther than he ever could as both a Demi-Toa and Toa Mahi (a metru-esque form of the Toa Kueva).
From Left to Right: Sword Superior, Sword Minor. Sword Superior can burst into flames and extend like a whip, chase after its enemies, and even strike at them like a snake. Sword Minor is more of a defensive sword that can burst into flames. The idea is that Zwielhander can fend off attacks with sword minor while letting Sword Superior strike at enemies independently.
