Titaanus
About this creation
Titaanus was once a renowned Dark Hunter, often traveling on missions with Roodaka or Nidhiki to exterminate threats such as enemy Toa, Rahi, etc. However, Titaanus became too skilled, too powerful. He eventually reached a level of predatory ability that he could solo a mission against up to six Toa and take them all down without suffering too badly. His patience with his fellow teammates was also beginning to stifle, leaving them in fear of him. After discussing the situation with his constituents, The Shadowed One remembered they had a blood-debt to be payed to the Brotherhood of Makuta for accidentally killing one of Mutran's most valued Rahi, a Kane-Ra/Kikanalo hybrid, after it showed up near their base (Mutran claims it was just wandering, but the hunters saw it as a threat. Regardless, the Makuta are stronger, so they forced the Hunters to agree to the blood-debt). With this, they decide to deliver Titaanus to the Makuta, leaving him to believe the Makuta want to honor him for his skill. When he arrived, he was taken, tortured, and his mask was taken and given to Antroz, the-up-and-coming Makuta of the time.
Left in prison, week and unfed, all hope seemed lost for Titaanus, when he noticed the Skakdi (the original species the Piraka hail from) guarding his prison door had fallen asleep. His hope returning, he crept up, took the Skakdi's spear, and beheaded him. He pulled out his victim's skull, cleaned it off, and wore it as his mask from then on. He charged up the spear's energies and blew a hole in the door, allowing him an escape. At that point, none had noticed his escape, but a Vahki was coming to check on what happened, only to be quickly exterminated by Titaanus and dragged back into his cell. There, Titaanus extracted the Vahki's sensor equipment and carefully installed it inside of the Skakdi skull. When he was finished, he could get a lock on every life-form within the vicinity, appearing as a heads-up-display on his left eye. As he made his way slowly back to the surface, he had ripped two arm-mounted mini-guns (each with an autorestoring ammo reservoir for unlimited ammo) out of their sockets and infused them onto his back. Now, he had completed the Titaanus that the Toa of Kueva Nui would eventually encounter.
Their paths crossed in a battle against a brigade of Infernos, now organized under Makuta Venorax. The Toa were doing a fine job of holding them off from attacking a Matoran village when he wiped out the last of them with his miniguns. He allied himself with the Toa out of convenience for "the sport of the hunt" as he calls it. For now, Tohuka doesn't care whether he's killing Untold Horrors for duty or enjoyment, "just as long as they all die", he commented. So, for now, Titaanus lives on his own in the mountain hot-springs, minding his own business and aiding the Toa when needed.
He's known as the Predator amongst his enemies.
His claws.
The Skakdi spear he stole. It can shoot bursts of white-hot energy as well as act as a welding tool.
His armor, mask, and miniguns. They can be fired from under his arms in close combat...
But they can also be extended for precision accuracy and following a target.
