I'm glad you like it! The raised platforms are baseplates 32x32 with landing pattern. They have been build on plates and long technic bricks which stand on support stanchions. It holds together because the plates on top connect down on the sides. Building time was about two months.

Amazing build! if i may ask how did you do the raised platforms? or do youhave any pics more close up on the plat forms? also another question how long did it take? it is truely an awesome job !!

OMG this creation is seriously awesome! As it seems everyone else has said, it must have taken ages to build. There is good detail everywhere and it's absolutely MASSIVE! Legolego what is wrong with you pompous g1t you don't even have have any lego creations on MOCpages ( well i guess i can't really say that cos i haven't uploaded any yet)but still i'm not so low that I actually say that someone else's creation is bad just cos it might give you credit. You even say on your homepage that your creations will make us drool all over the keyboard and make us think "is that real?" when you don't even have any!!! ANYWAYZ... apart from all this grumbling, this creation is SEEEEEEEEEERIOOOUSLY COOOOOOL!!!!

Ah, classic space as far as the eye can see - love it! Very cool idea to provide landing pads for the old school ships. The whole thing has a wonderful retro feel. Wish I could see this beauty first hand. Great job!!!
