VTOL used by the Office of Internal Affairs to suppress insurrection

Every vast empire has some natives who think they'd be better off as autonomous states. The Office of Internal Affairs combats this foolishness with the bombs and lasers of this VTOL plane. EEOIA engineers were inspired by the VTOLs of the Republic of T.O.R.
[Edit August 17, 2005]: Looking back I'd say that this is the best MOC from my earliest stage, which included the EEOE Gunship and the appalling M-Tron starfighter (and a few others that I never felt were worthy of photographing). It has a few great things that even now I have not replicated, like the angled sides on the fuselage (though they are unfortunately rather plain) and the great variety of greeblies inside. I wish I had made those greeblies visible without taking it apart, because they are quite good and were certainly my best at that time.
Some things I'd change if I were building it now: I'd replace the black parts under the cockpit with grey ones; truncate the nose to avoid the awkward slopework (it's quite an ambitious shape I tried to make); and switch the location of lasers and bombs--they don't really make sense as they are (and of course I'd do the lasers differently, because as they are they aren't very good.)
