This is what I would think an Adult Metroid would look like relative to a minifig. This guy is fairly large, but compared to the one at the end of Super Metroid, maybe somewhat undersized. I think that one was just big from eating some tasty space pirates anyway. Spoiled punk.
First attempt to feed the metroid. Kinda went lopsided on me, guess it wasn't to excited about standard issue business guy with a suitcase.
Round 2. Got him squared up and feasting. Go you hungry parasite go! If only I had dust-colored lego man parts to put in the next shot.
For some reason, metroids have large mandibles. They drain life energy, so teeth are somewhat superfluous, but it would look stupid as a big green blob with red guts.
Standard side view. Take a moment to observe the carefully crafted generic green background. Spent weeks on that part.
The juvenile metroid. Smaller version, built differently. Hard to photograph those dome pieces. They just reflect light in an odd way. Tried to photoshop them, but just was not getting the desired effect. Oh well, hakuna matata.
