been done before(not posted though), but the curved part obviously makes it go down further and go up higher than just a straight beam

This idea is very hard to replicate in Legos. I know because I have tried for some things awhile back. However I am surprised at the fact that you think that you were the first person to see this "revolutionary" idea. But otherwise I would like you to put it in a creation, maybe Halo? Keep Building!

I like your sense of inovation. But to tell you the truth, you just invented the crank... its a pretty basic machine. The same type of principle goes into a car's pistons, except power is applied to the beam, not the wheel... sorta. This is relitivly funny for me!
