The Concept

So, I was making my Dragon (to be posted shortly). It has some bomb bays that needed to be filled. I had some rockets, but I wanted some options. Then, I remembered this years Exo-Force thing, with the little robots. I kinda wanted it to look LIKE my dragon, but more important was that it was compact, small, and portable.

The Function

Well, the white "teeth" on the top are steering fins/solar panels (to charge it better). The back has a small engine to get it moving and off of the ground. In front of that is a small radar dish. In front of it is it's multi-tool. It can cut/rip though things, enter computers/machines software, has a small "hand" to climb and grab things with, and MUCH more.

So, without further "gilding the lily" (I love a Knight's Tale), behold the BUF!

They have different colors, for the different terrains, to blend in better. This is my favorite, the green one.

This is the back of the BUF.

The brown BUF, for desert terrain. I have enough pieces to make 2 of these.

This is the blue one, for oceanic/liquid camo.

The red, usually used as a medic.

Yes, it can both fly, AND climb/walk as a try-ped.

when it walks. This way it can move, and attack like a dog. Also, when it attaches on an enemy, it can climb on it to the optimal attack spot.

The back of the walker-mode.

This is what it looks like all folded up for storage.

To see how it unfolds...

First the engine/radar/multi-tool comes up to put thrust onto the ground, and get the thing up into the air.

Then the rest starts to unfold...

And TADA! You have yourself an unfolded BUF! Congrats.

This is a simple 2-part vig. My Sig-fig can take on 1, yes, but...

Can he take on 5?!?!? I think NOT!

So, there it is. I hope you enjoyed it, and please leave a review.

Awesome idea, bro. I absolutely love the name, it made me laugh. Very nice with the different camo functions, sounds like something that you'd think of. Do they fit inside the bomb bays of your planes and act as bomb workers (sorry, I don't know the technical term), or are they in place of the bombs? As always, very good job. I love it. ~Your Sis
