Clone Army (Part I)
This are my clones... enjoy
About this creation
WARNING:Read this before you look at the pics, I explain some important things here and I will not answer questions about them later!!!
I have seen some people posting pictures of their „armies“ (sometimes only five or six guys) so I decided to post pics of my clones. For now it is only a part of them but more may come. Before you ask: these 3x2 and 2x4 plates under the minifigs´ feet are my invention, they are called „Standplates“. They prevent the figs from falling over and can be used to carry additional equipment, think of that what you like, you may copy the idea or call it idiotic. The clones are organized in groups of three or more, each of them has a Commander who has to have binoculars to place orbital strike beacons and some have a small holoprojector to receive Order 66, a technician with some kind of tool and a medic with a bactatank. Comments, reviews and even critism welcome!!

“Hello!“ That is my sigfig, be nice and say hello.
Good. If you are curious, I can post more pics of him. He is wearing his Jedi-like clothing (he is NOT a Jedi!)
And wielding the standard rifle of his clone army, the DC-16 rifle. It is basicly the new LEGO Star Wars rifle with a hand and a technic pin attached to it (I know, this weapon is actually suposed to be some Imperial rifle but it makes a good rifle for clones in lack of any good DC-15s apart from Little Armory ones). The smaller LEGO Star Wars gun is the DC-16 carbine with the same internal components as the rifle but it is smaller and has a shorter range.

This is the DC-16 in standard configuration, it has automatic, single shot and high-power single shot settings, the latter of which can be used for sniping or in the manner of a shotgun.
The technic pin is a system which provides additional cooling to make the weapon overheat slower in automatic mode. The hand is a forward grip to help keeping the gun steady for more precise shots.

This is the sniper variant of the DC-16. It has the technic pin removed to make the weapon lighter so it is easier to hold steady.

This is the basic variant. It has no additional parts so it is not so easy to hold steady and overheats much faster but it is also cheaper.

So, lets begin with the actual clones.

This is Commander Bly´s group, the 327th Star corps. All of them have stock pauldorns (shoulder thingies) and painted arms and legs. Additionally bly has a custom Kama (skirt) and a weapon strap made of actual leather.

Here Bly uses his rifle.

Bly even has a face under his helmet. I glued a piece of black paper inside for the visor (I got the idea from someone who used video tape for this on a Boba Fett, credit to that guy!). He carries his hair on a faceless head on his standplate.

The second group is Cody´s 212th Attack battalion which is by far the biggest group.

This is Cody wielding his DC-16 rifle and carbine.
I tried some alternative variant for his helmet, I am not totally happy with it but in my opinion it is not TOO bad for being made whitout custom parts. He also has a body decal made of paper and a VERY SMALL jetpack.

Here you see what my holoprojectors look like. Not too bad, eh?

This is Cody´s tech, he carries a mobile gun turret.

Here the tech carries his turret on his standplate (well actually on his back ;-) ). His tool is a chainsaw.

This is the „heavy“ soldier, he has a rocketlauncher and a carbine.

This is the medic with a bacta tank (a Star Wars Battlefront II style one, you know, these things you sometimes loose when you die) and a jetpack to reach wounded troops faster.

This is the sniper, carrying the technic pin in his left hand. He also has an autoturret like in Battlefront.

The turret can be deployed manually and it will be placed automaticly when he dies (as you see).

This is the „super “-guy with a big jetpack, a shoulder-held massdriver cannon and a high-powered handgun.

Oh, and he also has two energy swords for hand-to-hand fighting.

And this is the uh... Green group, they all have high powered and sometimes modular weapons. This are the standard configurations.

Here you see some alternative gun designs. The green scout is the commander and the others are troops with leg armor painted on their legs with a water-resistant black pen.

This is a side view of the alternative guns.

The green tech has an advanced chainsaw which hangs under the standard gun variant as a kind of bayonet but it can also be used on its own.

OK, that´s all folks! More to come (maybe)...

Well, comments welcome, view my other stuff, leave reviews there and have fun!
