LIU Fire Tanker
Join the universal war against fire...
About this creation
LIU Fire Tanker

The Ludgonian Industrial Union is proud to present the newest weapon in the war against fire, the LIU Fire Tanker. Protect your galaxy with fleets of this intergalactic fire engine.

Police departments have long had different levels of protection (local, state, federal, galactic, etc.). Why should fire departments be any different? Buy a fleet of LIU Fire Tankers and allow them to back up your local departments across your controlled space.

That's right, the Fire Tanker can protect multiple planets. Interstellar engines mean the Fire Tanker can respond to a brush fire on your farm planet or a firestorm in the inner city slums of your homeworld.

There is no doubt this thing is built to fight fire. I mean, its red and has tiles with little fire emblems on it...

The engines....yawn...

Another pic....(we're not feeling too descriptive today)

The Fire Tanker can be broken down into three parts : Tank (right), Pump (center), and Cockpit (left).

Tank

The largest part of the Tanker is the tank. That's probably why its called a tanker...anyway, its hollow and contains several tons of fire fighting chemicals.

The front end has two adjustable nozzles and three fixed nozzles. They spray a wide swath of chemicals extinguishing the fire.

Pumps

Powerful pumps allow the Fire Tanker to propel its fire fighting chemicals a great distance. Some of the pump's mechanical pieces are exposed allowing them to keep cool.

Cockpit

The rear of the Fire Tanker contains its engines and the cockpit. Sensors and communication gear are located on the cockpit's walls.

More exposed mechanical systems...

The interior of the cockpit is loaded with computers. Screens show pump pressure and track the fire's movement.

Only one firefighter is needed to control the Fire Tanker.

Note: The Fire Tanker has other uses as well. Use it to water the wife's garden, use it to wash a parking lot full of cars, or use it to suppress a riot. Results may vary.

I like this, it doesn't have a bad shape, has good coloration, nice greebles, and a detailed; all of it that i saw; cockpit. I still think that you need to work on engines, but you are indeed getting better. i am, however, puzzled as to how it gets between stars, does it have a carrier? or does it have some faster than light travel device? good work, i'm sure this saves lives.

OMG, this is really good, now i would like to purchase 50 of these because of the occasional outbreaks of plasma fires in the Honoured Star's resonance photon cannon control and engineering.

Very nice. I like the contrasting colour of the greebles, as well as the shape. The engines aren't very exciting but not bad enough to stop me giving it a 5/5.

Nice details and SNOT on this one, and the shaping is a definite improvement over your previous "Fire" ships. I like the style you're developing, using those shallow slopes to change the shape.

Dear Emperor, We here at the Space Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) have determined that the chemicals used by your fire fighting vehicles have some unexpected side effects. True the fires are put out but in addition, all the squirrels in the area are now hairless, the monkeys will only eat fried won tons and the plant life has begun ingesting small children to fulfill their ravonous hunger. A small bribe will help us to look the other way in these matters. Sincerely, Poindexter Dumschmidt SEPA. (Nice work your highness, keep it up!) Later ~ Chris.

The exposed mechanical parts are a good idea, but there isn't anything new or special about this compared to your other fire department creations.
