Lego Stadium
Lego Stadium
Clearer pictures to come!! I started building this stadium 3 years ago and has been totally revamped multiple times. It can hold about 20,000 mini-figs (with expanded seating not shown) but 9,000 in the picture shown. Most of the structure is made up of seating you would find in a college football stadium but some of the seats are individual stadium chairs with backs. On the west sideline the lower level seats can be removed easily to accomidate baseball. For basketball, additional temporary seating can be added on. The stadium has two scoreboards, one that has video capabilities. The stadium also has two lockerrooms with separate tunnels to the playing field. Also, the stadium has a fully functional lighting system. In total the stadium has about 20 seperate luxury suits with seats installed in them. There are two pressboxes, one located ontop of the lower level in the north endzone and one ontop of the East sideline upper deck. Most of the stadium is completely above ground meaning that the ground outside the stadium is level with the playing field. However, the west sideline's entrance is on top of a hill meaning that you enter toward the top of the lower deck. More info to come... PLEASE NOTE: All the information I have given you above is 100% acurate and is not part of a "story line".

Great effort! I donīt think Iīve ever built as long on one creation - including entire town layouts. At first I thought the digital display hanging on a rope would be a cable railway; that would be freaky:) Do you have nearly enough minifigs to fill it up half way? Nice work anyways, keep on building! Steffen

You'd never get 20000 people to watch a NBA game anyway. Its colorful, I'll give you that.

I place my bet at 30,000 minerals that that stadium can hold up to... 5000 minifigs if your lucky. 10 if you remove the arms of the minifigs. Good day

Chris down there appears to be right, 20,000 seems like a huge overstatement, unless the "addable seats" arent ever shown... my rough estimate comes out to anywhere between 1,000 and 5,000 physically seated to fill capacity in the MOC. Even 20,000 elements would be hard to believe, (and on that subject I would genuinely LOVE to see what 20,000 minifigures looks like!) neat either way!

I really like this so don't take this the wrong way, but 20,000 figs? If you mean "in the story line" then fine. I'm not sure about 20,000 actually mini-figs. Putting that aside, this is a great creation. There is great detail in the build and I like how the different sections are color coded like "real" stadiums. Nice work overall. Later ~ Chris.
