06) Bionicle Epic 2008: Lathilin's Return
About this creation
Gurunu walks, pensive, in a meadow on the outskirts of Lei-Kueva's vast forests.
Since his transformation into a Demi-Toa, he has become much more introverted, preferring only to speak if absolutely necessary. However, something catches his attention.
Instinctively, he dives to avoid a surprise volley of gunfire.
Unkown Voice: So, this is what became of the wise Toa of Judgement?!
Gurunu: .... What in the...
Lathilin: I suppose I should introduce myself, dark fiend! I am Lathilin!
Lathilin: I am a machine of divinity, the scourge of the gods, servant to the light! I am-
Gurunu: Full of bullchips.
Gurunu activates his mask of hunger.
Lathilin: Your darkness is nothing against me! I.... what the? No! My energy!!! I...I... Can't...stand....
Lathilin falls, still weak from Mukraatan using him as a power source.
Gurunu: Wait, that's Komorro's body! What did you do with him?
Lathilin: Komorro? Oh, the toa with the funny eye? Pssh, what a halfwit! I took shelter as a soul in his body and rebuilt myself through him! He was but a pawn in my plan for revitilization! Quite ingenious, if I may say so, myself.
Gurunu: What?! What did you do to him?! I detected no presence from his soul in that body!
Lathilin: I'm not telling!
Unkown Voice: Majokshii. Fire.
~SHOOM~
~WHAM~
Lathilin: AAAUGH!!!
Gurunu: ....
Unknown Voice: Leave him, Gurunu.
Gurunu: Minokshii!
Minokshii: Imprisoning him would spell disaster for his prisoners. I should know. Watching over him was what Mukraatan allowed me to keep Majokshii for.
Gurunu: ....
Majokshii: Lathilin once big threat to Kueva-Nui. He rogue angel. Once good, but turned bad.
Minokshii: Matoran cannot handle him, so you'll need to alert the Krita-Ghost Soldiers guarding your villages (confused? See Krita Ghost Soldier V2 under Successors of the Shadows) to keep an eye out for him. They can handle him better.
Gurunu: .... Fine.... And Komorro?
Minokshii: I don't know what happened to your friend, but Majokshii's scanners were picking up a peculiar energy signature earlier, independent of Lathilin. That's what we've been tracking.
Gurunu: Are you saying that's Komorro?
Minokshii: It's possible. The energy signature is that of a Toa Kuelu, but Majokshii's scanners read this one along with the other three Toa Kuelu (Tohuka, Zwielhander, Leithe are currently the only Toa Kuelu at the time of this post). There's very strong evidence that this signature could be that of your friend.
Gurunu: Why are you helping me?
Minokshii: I trust you over those other Toa. You seem to have a deeper understanding and appreciation for life, and a curiosity for it. Even as a Demi-Toa, I still sensed that.
Majokshii: And Lathillin against you, so us with you.
Gurunu: .... Lead me to him....
