About this creation
Thanks for stopping by! What you see here is a Heckler & Koch HK416 "enhanced carbine". The creation took approximately 2 weeks on and off to complete. My main goal for this creation was to capture the carbine's appearance and so functions took a back seat to form. The only semi "working" portion of the creation is the trigger. Using a simple Lego band, the trigger will revert to it's original position when pulled and released. The charging handle, forward assist, stock, and fire selector have no function. Extra attachments on the gun are loosely based on their real world counterpart. Although the gun isn't completely smooth finished, I thought retaining some round studs elements added to the look of the creation and help establish that it is made of Lego bricks and pieces. Unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate the look of the gun 100% in Lego form, but the gun is as close to 1/1 scale I could get with brick size limitations (forearm/handguard is too short thus making the whole gun approximately 1.5" too short). The gun is completely made of genuine Lego bricks and pieces, no plastic were harmed in it's creation.

*Sorry I am not able to provide any instructions since this creation was not started in a digital designer. But the gun is pretty simple overall in build and you should be able to replicate it base on the pictures shown; the hardest part is finding all the pieces necessary. Good luck and please remember to never brandish or point a Lego gun at anybody!

It's great! I'm making a G36C right now. I really like Heckler and Koch weapons.

This is really spectacular. I love how you included the quad rail with SNOT - I honestly don't see that too often. You also have really clear photos, which is a major plus. I've built a fair number of LEGOŠ guns, but I rarely achieve the level of detail you get (I suppose some of it has to do with a lack of certain pieces). Anyway, if you haven't already, you should really consider trying out the LEGO Digital Designer. It's a really great program to just generate ideas without actually needing to have the bricks. You can basically create (most) anything you want, given that there is no piece limit. The only limitations with it are that 1. ordering custom models, particularly guns (which use a lot of pieces) is expensive, and 2. the LDD doesn't have the entire catalog of LEGO pieces.

Looks amazing, some great details on the body and the handguard. But why is there a bit of the stock that's much wider than the rest? I've never seen that on a 416 before.

This is awsome. For everyone out there who doesn't know about the HK416 you are missing a great piece of German enginering. Great job on building this model. I really like how you can disasible it.

Very accurate. I like the attention to detail, especially on the rails and the bolt.

I'm not a big fan of guns with legos, but clicked on this because i thought it was real. Sure enough it is made out of lego. Well done. I would be scared of a guy in pajamas carrying this!

Wow, haven't seen something like this on MOC Pages in ages. Keep up the great work, this surpasses any HK416 I have seen on the net.

I don't think I've ever seen a gun on MOCpages that I felt was worth commenting on...until now! Very nice form, surface texturing, and attention to detail. It's always fun when a builder steps it up a notch on a subject that is so often mediocre. Great job!!
