I wanted to build this scene, but don't have enough pieces to use the "minifig" ISD, so I made my own mini facade of one and "bolted" it to the 16x16 baseplate. It barely holds together, but fortunately I ONLY WANTED THE MAIN SHOT. :-D So I DON'T CARE HOW UGLY THE REST IS. :-) The brown tiles actually attempt to create an illusion of distance by shortening in length the farther back they are. This was seeing how lazy I could be, but still make it look decent. Those who are faint of heart should stop reading right here! Otherwise, continue on to see the nightmare of super fragile (I'm not kidding) facades.

the un-doctored pic

the above overview showing the flat buildings and the attempt to create an illusion of distance, with the tiles (tiles shorten from 1x4 to 1x2).

the back angle of the left side, you can also see the building in the process of being chopped int two.

the back view of the other side

the rear of the "star destroyer".

It turns out I forgot to upload only one picture. :-s So those wanting more pics, sorry to over excite you.

Not bad at all. I like the photoshopping. Turns a piece of junk (no offense) into a piece of art. The background gives depth to make the mini ship look like its further off in the distance.
