Chell
About this creation

Ah yes, Chell. The protagonist of the insanely popular game, Portal. I myself have finished the game and I must say that it may be the best game I have ever played! No doubt about it!! Sadly, the fact that the game is so short means that there isn't much detail about who Chell is or where she came from. Wielder of the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device or "Portal Gun", Chell must run GLaDOS (the weird computer lady who was supposedly developed to compete with Black Mesa's own projects)'s gauntlet of puzzles in the Aperture Science Inc. "Enrichment Center".
Please note!
I'm getting reviews telling me that this HAS been done before! I had no previous knoledge of that! Please don't rate me down for that reason alone! Do you think that's fair? Just imagine it as if it was the only one on MOCpages. Then you can rate me on quality or design. Trivial things like "it's been done before" are unfair and should not be the reason things are rated low! I mean, think of how many Halo things have been done before! Are those rated low for that reason?

Back view. I really didn't NEED to take this shot, but was told that I'd get cake... :P

And here it is! The trusty Portal Gun! You can fire two portals; one blue, one orange, in order to go from place to place. I don't exaggerate when I say that anything can be achieved with this little marvel.

Now, a closer look at the Portal Gun. It has a deviously simply design, and let me tell you! It took almost an hour-and-a-half to get these little switch thingys to fit on right. I just want to say, if you really want to build something like this, you need to be prepared to lose a great amount of hair... :P again

The buisness end of the Portal Gun. The puzzles in the game are rather simple, but the ways you solve them will just blow you away!

"Phew! What a day! I'm ready for some cake!"

And here's Chell herself, only viewable through a portal. The one thing I couldn't add on were the Anti-Fall leg springs, these keep Chell from taking damage from falling. But the Portal stuff doesn't end there!
No sir! I'm not done here!! I plan to make a companion cube and a turret as well! Hey are you listening?! Wait! Don't go! I have cake!! Uh oh...Somebody cut the cake! I told them to wait for you, but they cut it anyways!! There is still some left, though, if you hurry back......! :P again
(That means thanks for looking!)

A tried an true way to add the leg springs is to add a 1x1x1/3 orange plate to the feet, then insert a grey minifig hand in the two bottom stud holes on the legs. As I said though, It has been done before.

Hahaha, very nice! I can imagine how hard it is to put those switch things on x).
Maybe you could make the anti-falling springs by putting little lego 1x2 plates on the back of the legs, and put one of those pieces you used for the Portal gun handle underneath those!
