The Soviet war in Afganistan also known as the soviet-Afgan war was a 9 year conflict involving Soviet forces supporting the Peoples Democratic Party of Afganistan against the Mujahideen Resistance. Initially Soviet deployment began in 8/7/1978 and withdrawel began on 5/15/1988.On my diorama you can see my btr-80 apc, the Soviet troops are in grey and the resistance fighters are in any other colors. The temple took about 3 hours to complete and is basicly bare. Hope you like it!
