When the droids in effect, you best come correct, suckaaaaaa
About this creation
Propelled by instant classics such as "F--- the Empire" and "Wookiees Ain't Sh--" the debut album of hip-hop duo C-Thritty and R2DJ, Straight Outta Tattooine, was a multi-platinum smash. It would also, unfortunately, be their last.
Struggle for creative control between two massive egos split the group from within, and their penchant for calling out former friends and colleagues (a prime example being "Skywalker's a Punk A-- Bi---", one of three tracks recorded for that aborted second album) was a source of often violent distraction.
Recently discovered in a private collection, this is an original proof from their famous last photo session. Extremely rare, it was one of a handful of shots taken before the photographer realized that the dancing girls needed stripper poles.
Haha I love the moc..I like how you changed their names.
Hey freela I think that peice comes from...umm...hmmm...oh I know I think it comes from slave on the newer one(not the one coming out later this year).
Wow! I can't believe I missed this when it originally came out. Great work Shannon! I don't know what's more disconcerting, 3PO with a machine gun or the strippers attempting to do flips above stairs in the background. It seems great minds think alike in terms of pimpin' and bamfness.
I busted C-Thirtty lask week for pushing bad death sticks! He shorted a liitle when we tazed him but did kept speakin' in something called Botchee! Later ~ Chris.

deffinantly the best star wars moc ever, but lego would never make it because of the whole shannon is naughty and this is a noughty moc therey (how ever you spell that), well I cant blame the lego company you are a dirty little monster arnt you. ;)
Leia workin' the pole is everyone's dream but R2's hat is the bomb. Am I dating myself. Good thing. I'm nice. And really so is your moc. I showed it to the Star Wars fans at work and the best comment I got back, from Russ, was: "Grand Theft Auto: Tatooine." Thanks for the laugh. garth
As I understand it, the split actually came from controversy over percentage rights from the first album. Apparently DJ felt he'd gotten taken. That wouldn't surprise me. I mean check out Thrity...he's bling from head to toe...and have you seen his grill? Solid gold.
I will never be able to look at these two droids the same way again. Here I thought they were good guys. Then again, I've never been a good judge of character (I once picked up a hitchhiker that tried to smoke crack in my car...true story). The tipped hat and stripper poles makes this an auto 5/5.
