The U-28 is a remote operated bomb disarming device. Along with state of the art precision fingers, the U-28 has a counter-explosive designed to render the bomb useless. The treads give the U-28 all-terrain traction, a major advantage in wher it can be used. Most U-28s operate from the backs of U-7 Alligators, where the crew can set up a TV screen to view the situation recorded by the U-28 and control the U-28's movements.

Last resort: the bomb can't be defused, so the U-28 releases its counter-explosive, which will destroy the bomb completely.
