Millenium Falcon entry 1
This is going to be a journal of my attempt at building a minifig-sized millenium falcon. Entry 1: it is May 10, 2008. Parts of the ship do look like lego set 10179, but i haven't bought that set -- i've only looked at pictures of it. Man, are those coss sections helping!
About this creation
here is my first prototype of the millenium falcon cockpit.

as you can see, the cockpit is modeled after the lego set 10179. i have not bought that set, though, and are only going of pictures off of brickshelf.

here is a hallway prototype.

here are the engines. this was one of the harder parts to build. The bottom wing is a prototype; the real one is coming along . . . . . .

The legs are pretty sturdy, but the structure breaks at time. right now, it weighs 6 pounds, and is continuing to grow! Thanks Pepa Quin for inspiring me!

EDIT: Does anyone know where i can get a good picture of the engine? this one looks great to me, but i want to make sure. Google Images isn't a help this time.

EDIT:8/8/08 -- PROJECT DROPPED!! NOT ENOUGH PEICES TO FINISH!!

This would be very cool if you finished it. Sad that you are out of parts
