Monastery
About this creation
A Galactic Inquisition Monastery. A place of peaceful contemplation and INTERCEPTING TRANSMISSIONS. Oops, said the quiet part loud...

   Oh yeah, mad photoshop skillz.

   Inside the hangar bay.

If Ma Goldman was on minifig scale, you could barely squeeze her through this opening.

   Open wide.

   It's very austere, no?

Obligatory Lenny-shot. Can you do any less?

Here you can see an angel carved into the side.

   The angel close up.

Docking hatch open, the SoM can actually dock with this thing, but I didn't want to build a tall enough support for it to take a picture.

   Baby's got back.

Oh my god! The hatch is open! We'll all be killed!

I think the bell tower really helps make this thing. Totally Keith's idea, he said something like: It needs a belltower, or the high tech equivalent.

   Topless

   Topless and bottomless

These are obviously for meditating in deep space... no star fighters here.

   Going about their Monkly duties.

You know, from the top and stuff.

   Exploded.

An OK view of the interior. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, range, and sink, but they're packed in pretty tight. Also not the toilet paper... alot of you other space people seem to be content to be without it. The Inquisition doesn't use no sinful bidets.

Asteroid bases are always nice. A church in an asteroid, that's just brilliant.

I love how you built the base into the asteroid instead of on top of it. You sir have awesome lego skills.

How people have the audacity to come in, drop a 1 or 2 rating and not have the guts to leave a "callback number". This is why you should HAVE to be logged in to leave reviews and ratings. Dan, your stuff... yep, you know it's good. ~ Chris

I like it. I like it alot. I wonder why this only has a rating of 3.5. I like the design and I really like the color scheme. Where did you get all of those tan pieces? I would like some close ups of those "meditation ships" or whatever they are called. Very nice moc.

This is wicked. The idea, the design.. it's all too much. Did you create the main interior levels first and then add the rock around it? Great MOC! Cheers!

What, no reviews yet? More proof that cheap porn and stolen liquor have destroyed the already poor discernment of MOCpages reviewers. This sucker rocks, the base-inside-an-asteroid idea was just begging to be tried in Lego form. The hangar bay is the best of the already excellent and funky details. I demand more!
