My second M4 AR

M4 assault rifle with M203 grenade launcher, both of which fire.
About this creation
Having built the first one, I thought I could do better with the general shape of the model, so I rebuilt most of it. It still used exactly the same firing mechanism for the gun (although not for the M203 grenade launcher, which was significantly improved).

PS.
I've been inundated with requests for instructions recently. Sorry, but not only do I not have time to make instructions, but also the models have usually been dismantled by the time people ask.



Enlarge image 		   Olde Vietnam era version, without the grenade launcher. The only difference is that the magazine is smaller.

Enlarge image 		   The firing mechanism. the bit on the left is the trigger. It fires to the right. The + -shaped bit wants to rotate clockwise, but is blocked off.



Enlarge image 		   When the trigger is pulled, the + can rotate about 45 degrees, and when the trigger is released it goes the next 45 so it is ready to fire again.

I'm very curious on how you got the grenade launcher working. Is it possible to explain it for us and maybe wanna review my grenade launcher?^^

Awesome design, could you send me some pics of the trigger assembly and maybe some instructions on how it works, I've been working on my own AR but I havent been able to find a good firing mechanism that works well other than the one I already have which isnt that great. Well anyway good work and keep it up man.
