About this creation
Chris and I have deceided that we'd rather make love not war so we're doing a collaboration. Now before you groan, hear me out. Although it's Chris's idea, it's actually pretty cool. He has sent me a story. I will build to illustrate the story. After this one, I'll send him a story and he will illustrate it. See, so simple even I could follow it. Here goes *gulp* :

In the year 2235 in the deep dark reaches of uncharted space, the Inter Planetary Space Federation (IPSF) exploration vessel “Nota Chance” glides through the blackness
“Captain, we found the signal sir.”
“What signal are you talking about ensign?”
“Don’t you read your holomail sir? The signal that we’ve been asked to look for. The one that originated over 200 years ago on Earth.”
“I must have, uhh, missed that one. What is this about?”
“Well sir, you know the about the holonet crash of 2012?”
“No, I can’t say that I do.”
“Let me give you a short history sir. By the year 2012, nearly every site on the “net” was automatically linked to porn. The one exception was a page called Mocpages.com. This page had, for the past few years, slowly been taken over by crappy HALO mocs until it finally crashed in December of 2012.
In January of 2013, the site was rebooted to support the only mocs that were being posted at the time… HALO mocs. The site was renamed Halomocs.com!”
“Dear God, Not Halomocs.com!”
“Yes sir, the very evil that we have been trying to eradicate from the universe for the past two centuries! The Mayans warned us with their calendar but we were too stupid to see the TRUE signs of the apocalypse.
Ever since, the IPSF has been searching for the original signal for Mocpages.com, floating out here somewhere in the cosmos and sir… we’ve found it! Now all we have to do is track that signal to a time hole, follow it back to the year 2009, and destroy all Halo mocs before they take over!”
“Do you have a line on a time hole within the projected path ensign?”
“Yes sir, I do; see that star there sir?”
“The second one to the right? How long will it take us to get there?”
“Oddly enough sir, if we go straight on… till morning.”
“Very well then. Send a message to home base and set a course!
We must stop Halomocs.com…
whatever the cost!”
The IPSF Nota Chance was never heard from again. It was determined that nothing could have stopped Halomocs.com from taking over most of the known universe. The past can’t be changed but the future is not set.
Let this be a warning to those of us, here and now, to be on constant guard and never overlook the evil that is all around us… We have been warned!

Well that's it. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Youngy, please direct your disgust at the pathetic story to Chris (yes, and any letterbombs regarding the build quality should be sent to my address...) Phew, stories are HARD work man! Here's some extra shots:
The photo of the SS Nota Chance cruising off toward the sun is unphotoshopped! The sun is just a torch I was using to get some more realistic space lighting (ie DARK) and that planet-looking thing is just the black cloth. OLD SCHOOL SPFX!
PS: About the Lego Ambassador nominations (I tried to leave a comment on the official page but it wouldn't let me write anything for some reason so I wanted to say): I've been feeling a bit depressed this last week and then I see a few of you have nominated me for the ambassadorship thingy, alongside giants like Goldman and Nannan. I am very humbled and it means a lot to me. Thank you to the dudes that voted for me, but I must respectfully decline. My head's not in the right place at the moment, however it would be something I want to look into in the future. I've sent an email to Sean and the MOCpages team letting them know.

this is excellent, as we say in WA (to the west of you - sandgroper territory) - its bloody brilliant! The sfx are good, the actual storyline is fantastic, i like the way that Mocpages 'collapsed'. I think you should lay low for a while though, you may be on the HaloFan hitlist! |

Defeating Halomocs is easy. You simply build very good things that are anti-Halo. This will probably overwhelm them with supeiriority, and they will leave the site. Maybe. |

I've always been a fan of "photo-shopped" pics provided some originals are presented as well. It seems like a lot of extra work to kick it old school IMHO. Anywho, nice work fellas. An interesting concept. |
