Ever wonder what Saddam got up to before he ruled Iraq? He was Myles Mayhem!
About this creation
Made this a little while ago and forgot to post it here. Brian D'Agostine's micro MASK designs reminded me http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/57480
I vividly remember trying to make this as a kid. Well, I finally scratched that itch but...I dunno, I'm not that happy with it. Maybe cuz it's not in bluish purple...oh well.
Here's a list of it's faults:
Pilot has to stand up in cockpit.
No room for minifig helmut.
Lazers don't retract ot extent that much, if at all.
It's d.blay.
Wings are wrong proportion.
Blades are too thick.
" don't fold down flat and keep popping off.
also, I hate it.
Oh, and I ORDER you to watch the M.A.S.K. intro-that song is damn catchy! 80's RULZ!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vSD8DliZ1w
Ok, the helicopter version looks pox but who plays with this in heli mode anyway???
This slimmer wing tucks in better but it doesn't come in d.blay
and it's too thin when it folds out.
Here a laser cannon can extend but then it's too long when it goes back :(
"Masked crusaders, working overtime...fighting crime...FIGHTING CRIME!"
"dadadada-MASK! is the only power that can save the day".......

Hey, it may not be perfect, it may have its flaws, but YOU atleast tried to make something that most could never achieve, the m.a.s.k switchblade, it has to be one of the most complex of m.a.s.k. vehicles, even the toy is. Its great in the fact that it is switchblade, there is no denying it. Wrong color, so what, wings to big, who cares, its Switchblade!!!!
Oh, if you like the mask theme as much as I do, and no I'm not advertising, but go to televisiontunes.com, they have a 3 minute version of the song by the orginal people who did the one for the cartoon, and its a free download!!! I have it on my computer and listen to it everyday!!! M.A.S.K. RULES!!! |

Simply Freakin' awesome! Just the fact that you built it and it's functional and looks about right more than makes up for the small defects. Keep it up! |

That is pretty darn clever - the wings look very nice tucked away, but I have to agree - I would just be swooshing her around in jet mode. Lee. |

I gave you a five based on the moc, and not it's faults. You are right, there are many, but this is a good moc by itself. I love the details you put into this, and both modes look pretty good, aside from said problems. Good job! |

You should do the Boulder Mt gas station. Mask was an excellent product, but got overshadowed by starwars, he-man, transformers, GI-Joe, Thundercats, and Legos IMO. Oh yeh, and that 1986 thing called nintendo. |

Reminds me of those old transforming action figure vehicles that were around in the 1990s. Awesome model, looks like a blast to fly around the house while making airplane sounds. |

Wonderful playability options. I actually think I would maybe even buy this set if it was available on Lego.com.

Faulty or no, this is one amazingly playable model. A few days' worth of modifications can really improve things like proportion issues. Great job! |
