This is a working pair of signals based on the Digitrax TF4 Quad Function Decoder. The signals get power and control information directly from the track - no need for unsightly wires running across the layout. The signal units can be broken down for transport. Most of the light gray elements are glued together to protect the wiring; however, the 6x6 base plates are not glued to the signals so that they can seperate easily in the event of a wayward hand or foot.
Nice use of LED's. This is the only set of functioning signals I've seen. I was trying to figure out how to do this with DC. How hard was the conversion to DCC?
