About this creation

I broke down and bought one of the Belville sets because it had two cute puppies in it. I like the animals but these guys are too big for minifig scale. Or are they? While pondering this the title popped into my head, and like a low budget movie producer I let the title lead me. There's no reason for picking the Serengeti, other than it sounds cool and it's fun to say. I also wanted to keep it simple for such a silly joke. Something I can build watching a movie.

I actually thought the sequel was better, and that almost never happens. Due to all the graphic violence it couldn't maintain the G-rating the original did... I think it was called "The Giant Puppies of the Serengeti Meet the Ravenous Lions of the Serengeti."
