Quoting The Pmiaki
You should probably give credit/a link to sholessjoe on brickshelf. I'm pretty confident that you took a lot of ideas from him for this plane
oh thats who built that p-61 on brickshelf...yeah i would have given him credit because i took his idea for the nose for my p-61...but i didnt know who built the moc on brickshelf at that time. also i had already started building this moc before i saw his so most of it is my own design....anyway thanx for the help sholessjoe =)

Hi David:),
I must say I am tempted to do that. It would be interesting to create the Magister, especially the cockpit would be a challenge I think... Hmm i´m not sure if I should, though, cause I have to work a lot and prepare some stuff for my final thesis and exams at the university:( (They won´t take place yet, but everything within the next year) I´m running away from that anyways already, so I feel bad... I don´t know yet...
I saw your answer to Jamie´s invitation, cool! Did somebody else join already? Steffen |

Hello David, may I ask you a question? On your welcome page, I noticed you managed to upload a picture. I tried that, too, but it won´t work. What I did: I uploaded the pic to brickshelf, waited a few days and then copied the adress into the photo source field of my welcome page. But it just doesn´t work... Do you know what I did wrong, or can you tell me how it works? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Steffen |

That's very good except for the wingspan : obviously too short. You must look at blueprints and check length and span when you want to build an accurate model. I would use tiles for the propeller if I were you. |

Thanks for the review Jack, although i just want too say that it is minifigure scale...it may look smaller because of the camera angle... i personally think it could have been a little higher but what can you do....thanks for reviewing------David |

Not Bad! It looks a little under minifig scale, but I may bew wrong. Great work!

To David: Thank you very much for you review! I´m glad you like my C-2, I´m quite proud of it:) The nose is always tricky, but I like a lot how it turned out this time. I think I have the parts to do two more big planes - an older propeller-driven one and another, modern fighter plane. Other than that, I might do some choppers in the future. The airport layout might take me still a long time, cause I only have a part of my Legos in my apartment - the rest is at my parents´ - and I´m not there very much anymore:( But someday, I will do it I promise - I´d love to do it right now - but the planes have priority and I can build them here:) Thanks again! Grüße aus Deutschland, Steffen |

Hi David:),
I saw the WIP on your website and am glad you finally made it! Great job, it looks very accurate, the canopy works well and the overall look is awesome. also, the little yellow edges of the propellers stick out perfectly on this black beast - very, very nice! In general, it seems like it is "raining planes" today on MOC.pages... There were a couple of nice ones, I thought. Oh, and I just posted my new cargo jet - would you like to check it out? Viele Grüße aus Deutschland,
Steffen |

Hi, Patrick I would like to thank you for your review. Although I would like to point out that the nose is actually the right shape...it may look more bulky in the photos, but in real life, it is very stream lined. In addition, this is a minifigure scale plane so if you wanted you could use my canopy design on your p-61(that is if you p-61 is minifig scale too)...anyway thanks for your review------David |

The snot does looks very nice. I think this is only the 3rd black widow I have seen in lego, but this is a nice one, for sure. accurate canopy and I like the landing gear flaps, must have been an extra hassel to get those right. Very nice! |

First of all, thank you for reviewing mine! I really like the SNOT, I wish I could pull that off, the canopy is perfect, but probably wouldn't work on mine as it is of a larger scale. The wings look a tad to high up on the fuselage and there isn't much you could do to make the nose rounder, but overall I like it. Your boom landing gear is enclosed when retracted like the real thing, mine sticks out the bottom similar to a DC-3/C-47. We sould have a post-creation MOC-off! I have no idea how those work though... Keep it up, here's a tissue for all that SNOT! |
