Ultimate Minifigure Edition Imperial Star Destroyer (pt.1 of 3: Exterior)
Page 1 of 3 of my Ultimate Minifigure Edition Imperial Star Destroyer. Be sure to check out page 2 of 3, the Interior, and page 3 of 3, the Crew. This is the first ever minifig-converted Ultimate Collector's Series Imperial Star Destroyer on MOCpages. Classified as the Imperial-I Class Cruiser (formerly known as Imperator). I will be uploading additional pages for the detailed interior and the ship's crew soon, so stay posted! This picture shows you how big this vessel is compared to a minifig and my Dictator.
About this creation
Another size comparison, with an Eta-2 Actis Interceptor (formerly known as a Jedi Starfighter during the era of the Republic)

Rear view shows the Imperator's massive engines as compared to the Dictator's smaller engines. The Imperator's primary engines are larger than a minifig in diameter.

Side view of the Imperator shows its many ion cannon batteries, sensor arrays, and observation windows etc.

My very own customized hvy. anti-ground batteries, which are located in the small hullport (hangar bay) on the ventral side.

Commanding officers of the Imperial Army and Navy prepare to board the Imperator for inspection. The boarding ramp is also located in the ventral hullport.

View of an Imperator-Class Star Destroyer through the command bridge of a smaller Acclamator-Class Med. Frigate.

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT PAGE 2 OF 3, THE INTERIOR, AND PAGE 3 OF 3, THE CREW, WHICH I HAVE RECENTLY UPLOADED.

Hey Kelso, it's funny you should bring that up. In my very first post on moc pages (called "table game" if anyone wants to check that I actually did do the math), I worked out the measurments for a real minifig scale Star Destroyer. It would be about 45 feet long. I also mentioned that you or Jassim should get to work on it right away... But this isn't about you. I LOVE this ship! I'm getting all giddy to see the interior shots. Post 'em quick! ~ Chris.

ooh yeah...somebody give me the pieces and I'll do a true minifig scale star destroyer! (oh, and I'll need a airplane hangar.) Meanwhile, I like the idea of giving the guys inside a bit more room to romp, squashing galactic freedom and being all dictatorial. I'll look forward to seeing what you've done for the interior!
