Kestrel
About this creation
Dwarfs, their similarity with Ewoks begins & ends with their height. A Dwarf Punk flyer, the Kestrel makes the improbable probable. Mostly used for scouting missions. The Kestrel has never been successfully landed, but the Dwarfs are working on it.

My collection (& free time) is currently tied up in two large WiP dios. But it's been so long since I actually built something I could post, it was refreshing change of pace, especially building something crazy. Actually I sat down to build a vig, but - heh - here we are ; )

That is some niiiiiceee MOC! I hope they work out how to land it xD. I tried doing a steampunk flying machine, it's not in the same league... to be honest, it's probably about 5 leagues down from this :D

There is of course one more similarity. The hair. But I hear that Ewoks are now following the traditions set forth in todays adult entertainment films... Bald Ewok... Not a pretty picture. ~ Chris.

Great build Aaron, the SNOT work is fantastic! You should put a note at the bottom: no dwarves were hurt in the making of this MOC, I used Ewok Stunt Doubles. Money for burials needed.

This just looks so amazing... I particularly like the use of a mining cart-like hull and the general improbability of it all. Very refreshing and nice.

I saw this on Brickshelf yesterday and I thought wow, look at those wings! Every part about this MOC is awesome. Those dwarfs surley make up for their size with the brains that they have in their head's! What will they build next, maybe a tunneler with those giant chrome drills from 4970?

I really like what you've done with the dwarves theme. The propellor construction on this might be my favorite detail, especially since you could have just used a single propellor piece.
