After having sorted all the parts we had available, we sat down thinking that sooner or later we will build an entire LEGO city. Apart from the obligatory features (if you ask LEGO) of any self-respecting city, police & fire station, what else must our city have as a key building? Well, a city hall, of course... We didn't spend too much designing, because we had a basic concept in our heads, instead we decided to get to the job and have some fun.
Never mind the cars, both have now been reworked and look considerably better... As to the city hall, well I must say we're happy with the way it turned out. Perhaps it needs to be a liiitle bit bigger next time and boast a few more details here and there (plus some matching doors and windows).
Don't ask what's up with the guy with the hook coming out of the city hall. Got his hand cut on paper edges so often that he simply decided to go for this option. What can you do... bureaucracy! Apparently, he's now much happier with the way things are going for him (my guess would be that he now has considerably less paperwork to deal with)!
