A yellow Formula 1 car using exclusively parts of the 4404 set
About this creation
Personally I have seen the red ferrari Formula 1 cars a little too much after another victory and in LEGO scale models. So why not build a yellow formula 1 car using exclusively 4404 parts?!
So that's exactly what I did. Having lots of fun using SNOT and integrate it as much as possible I came up with this slick looking F1 car. It would be funny if people need a serious look to figure out how it's built.
Ldraw-instructions are available on Brickshelf.

This is fantastic! I have the set, and this is making me want to go dig it out and try to do something similar. I'm always impressed when someone can successfully build an alternate using pieces from only one model. Well done! |

A totally excellent creation, considering that it originally was an off-roader. very clever! My only slight concern is the tires, but there isn't a lot you can do about that whilst remaining with the sets original pieces, but still, it would look great with semi-slick tires. |

I really wanted to build this car..so i started...but i gave up....couldnt get it right from just looking at the pics....too much was hidden from sight.....too bad...cause it looks so nice |

I love how you brought out the curvyness of F1 cars! How much did the set that you built this from cost? Can you comment on my latest F1 car? Thank you! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/296712 |

This is beautiful, and your philosophy of using just few pieces from a given set is great! |

Superb! Especially considering its built using one set, really liking your creations will be keeping an eye out. Only just joined this site and am frantically trying to add all the MOCS i've created these past few months, so i can start a new one. uploaded a 90's Mclaren last night, would really appreciate your comments. Wow happy MOTD. This is very cool, because I have the ste 4404 Land busters and that is sometimes a little bit boring but this isn't. The details are great only the wheels and tyres are different. :D keep it up my friend :D |
