Hawker Typhoon
WWII British fighter produced by Hawker Aircraft. My MOC is at ~1/20 scale. The oil cooler is longer than it should be because it holds a 9v battery box that powers the propeller.

Ian, I'd be happy to make you a copy of this MOC for your museum. Email me at bstokes@hancockcollege.edu and we can discuss the details. B
Quoting Ian Wilson What an outstanding piece of work, congratulations. This would look amazing in the Typhoon section of my Museum. Is there any chance of commissioning a model Brian? All the Best, Ian Bombphoons Vintage Aviation Memorabilia

Awesome, I like how you made the prop spin with the 9V battery. Also, good use of the SNOT idea on the rudder. Do you think you could join my WWII aircraft group?

Perfect, I wonder if you could make the fighter plane from the last crusade?

Thats very good. I love the nose, especially the tilted propellers. The only problem is the feuslage is a bit wide. Other than that, its great! Keep up the good work.

whoa. how in the world did you get the propeller wings to be tilted at an angle and not fall off when its spinning? if you could Email me about that, i would appreciat it. btw, i love this plane. this is very accurate, i dont htink it could get any better. unless you can find some way to make the box for the batery smaller. but still amazing.

Well done. I'd prefer the Tempest to the Typhoon (more beautiful lady I think)but to store the retractable landing gear it's easier with the Typhoon's wing. Keep building !

Fantastic MOC; It's nice to see the Typhoon represented so well. It seems to be overshadowed by more famous aircraft in the popular imagination. Well Done
