So here I am again, with more Generic Things in a Generic War, about Generic Nations fighting for Generic Reasons.
Not much really, other than just a few new figures and a vehicle in this set.
United Nations Peacekeepers
I'm still going to be short here. With the loss of many counties after decades of war, the UN is left with a handful of the original 192 from 2008.
Peacekeepers are in charge of the tedious task of protecting refugee encampments, and defend civilians in war zones.
Here is the generic group-shot.
The Peacekeeper Infantry stand tall. (Not really)
Just some utility backpacks, nothing special.
Generic Standard Issue:
Generic Rifles make for Generic MOCs.
Generic Peacekeepers make good tools of demonstration.
Lets just say that this Generic Piece of Junk is a rapid-fire tear gas grenade launcher, based off of the Metal Storm System. (Google is your Amigo)
And that's basically it for the UN Forces.
People's Republic of China
Here is a continuation of the Chinese PLA Forces that you can see in the previous entry of Global Conflict.
There only two updates at the moment.
As you can see, this is the basic infantry squad, coupled with a light vehicle, the first vehicle in the Global Conflict Set. (I say it's very generic, and somewhat bland)
Update #1: Chinese Support Infantry
Armed with a light machine gun, these little guys can't do much. (They're Legos remember?)
It is practical for support infantry to carry extra ammunition, and supplies via backpack.
Generic 7.62mm light machine gun, based off of nothing, but resembles the FN M240 (Goooooogle)
Update #2: Chinese Amphibious Light Point-Defense Vehicle (ALPDV)
My first vehicle. I hate creating vehicles and I am pretty bad at it, so I need some input on this one. Basically, this is your average amphibious jeep, with a mounted 20mm Vulcan Cannon designed to carry out roles in base defense, anti-personnel, anti-missile countermeasures, and in light anti-aircraft roles.
Just your standard side-view of the vehicle.
The "fugly" front-view.
Just your typical rear-view
Yes, the ALPDV uses a suspension system similar to the Official Lego Clone Turbo Tank (Juggernaut if you're a fan boy or girl).
Very cheap and easy to make it is...
The 20mm Vulcan Gun can pivot
I can turn too, isn't that amazing?
Chinese Doctrine dictates that soldiers must deploy support pylons before firing the high power 20mm Vulcan Gun, or risk damage to the chassis.
(I forgot to take a picture with the gun, forgive me.)
The driver's seat. Not very protected if you ask me. It's an indirect combat weapon, so you won't see this on the front lines unless in the dire of circumstances.
The 20mm Vulcan Gun can pivot as we saw earlier.
A little excessive there huh?
And that wraps up the Chinese Amphibious Light Point-Defense Vehicle, and this update for Global Conflict.
I hope you have not enjoyed this page, and I hope you don't have a great day!
Please don't stay tuned for Update #2.
