Gringotts Railway Station
Railway station created out of 3 Harry Potter sets.
About this creation

Before you proceed..

Updated 9th Nov 2005 >

  • What I am creating here is just ... basically MOC, so hope you
guys might judge it more towards the design as a whole , and NOT how
well it fit inside Harry Potter universe

  • I'm not trying to imitate any known railway stations in
Potter-verse. It's just a MOC I conked out from a few Potter sets.
You can compare  but please don't use it as a basis of rating.

  • Just assume this station is somewhere in a town inside
    Potter-verse.

  • I insist its "Gringrotts railway station" coz I'm utilising the
pieces of bricks with the word Gingrotts on it in my creation here.
It would be illogical if I do otherwise (unless I reverse the
placement of those bricks in my MOC and make this a generic railway
    station)

Hope I'm not offending anyone. Thanx! ^_^

Made entirely of 3 Harry Potter sets, namely:

  • Gringotts Bank

  • Duelling Club

  • Dobby's Release

Got 'em in clearance sale for a total cost of (about) US$29.
The only additional pieces are the rail tracks. All parts are used up for this creation.

I just love train stations with overhead bridge =)

This is the ticket booth under the staircase, with the troll manning (or should I say, trolling) it.

The top part gives a magnificent view of the surroundings

First floor is off-limit to station staff only. This one is the key-room. Remove the key and they whole station shuts down.

Someone familiar is walking up the stairs.

Someone even more familiar is waiting on the bridge, probably waiting for a duel.

Hagrid is waiting for the train to come, even though with his straight back, he knows he can't fit in many LEGO trains.

On the first floor also is the station master's room.

Ticket counter is also available inside the main building ground floor.

Looks like Harry has alot of luggage to carry and take care of.

Oppss... gotta go. My train's here =)

Eh wait... what is he doing? The poor train, he's gonna wreck it with his magic wand. And what is that white creature lying on the tracks?

I am lost for words. What you have done with these sets (I have none of them :-( ) is truly Awesome. Could you post something saying how you did this? I would definitely like to learn some techniques to use in my own HP models.

Well being as it is just three sets built into something, with all pieces used, I am impressed. I don't know what it is about it but I am kinda drawn into looking at it. Well done. I don't know if you added that stuff in the information before or after the other people posted. But if it was before, then either 1. They can't read, or 2. They just don't care.
