This Ford Cortina MK3 GXL was featured in BBC Sci-fi or police drama series "Life on Mars", the golden Ford Cortina was driven by DCI Gene Hunt in 1973. When "Life on Mars" spun-off to a new BBC series "Ashes to Ashes", where DCI Hunt swapped his Cortina away and replaced it with an Audi Quattro in 1981.

yeah, try and make the quattro from ashes to ashes, that would be awsome! still, nice cortina mk3, my uncle had th lotus cortina from the 60's
